The Top 3 Top Office Design Trends in Pleasanton, CA for 2016

Designers say, in order to increase productivity and keep workers engaged, it’s time to move towards these design directions and get the most out of your office space.

With years and reams of analysis done, you’d expect every workplace to be the definition of productivity and engagement. Earlier this year, the paper “Ethonomics: Designing for the Principles of the Modern Workplace” revealed that the workplace is ripe for remodeling. If you want to get the most out of your employees in the workplace, be sure to follow these three office design trends.

  1. Hide Wires

Monitors, desktops, laptops, phones, cell phones, and other electronic devices all require wires to stay powered or to charge, all of which can beguile the average employee. Hiding wires can make a desk seem organized which hides the distractions of the slithering cables.

  1. Lounge Areas

Creating spaces that are the polar opposite of rigid workstations is the best way to incite employees towards better productivity. Albert Einstein once said, “To stimulate creativity, one must develop the childlike inclination for play.” He then went on to “discover” (it’s always been there; he just wrote it down) the Theory of General Relativity. Maybe your employees aren’t the next Einstein, but that doesn’t mean that creativity and relaxation aren’t good for productivity!

  1. Multipurpose Workspaces

Cubicles are disappearing at alarming rates and are being taken over by non-assigned seating. Multipurpose spaces can be used from multimedia presentations and casual breakout areas: Ping-Pong anyone?
