Fill Your Summer With Fun At The Alameda County Fair
As the weather warms, you are probably looking for ways to get outside and take advantage of the summer fun. Fortunately, the local community is offering plenty of opportunities to do just that. Namely, the Alameda County Fair is offering a few weeks of excitement and is just around the corner!
From June 17th to July 5th, 2015’s Alameda County Fair “Rock The Red, White, & Blue” takes over the Alameda County Fairgrounds.
Do not miss opening day, June 17th, when tickets for general admission and rides will be just $1 until 5:00 p.m.
Each evening, the night will come alive with music from talented artists starting at 8:00 p.m. The star-studded lineup includes War, The Beach Boys, Rodney Atkins, Foghat, and Kansas. You can take a look at the full schedule here.
Of course, no fair would be complete without daily contests. From eating competitions to culinary contests and educational exhibits to livestock showcasing for both kids and adults, the Alameda County Fair presents the opportunity to see some of the best talents from the local community.
On top of all of this, there will be horse races on June 18th to 21st, June 25th to 28th, and July 2nd to 5th. First post is 1:15 p.m. every day except for Fridays, when it is 3:15 p.m.
